Front-end HTML5/Javascript touch developer
Come work with a small entrepreneurial team of talented hackers that seek to push the boundaries of the web experience on touch devices. We are looking for someone who loves Javascript, and stays framework agnostic. Someone who dreams in HTML5 and sees the world in CSS3 Gradients. Above all, we need a self starter who wants to be a part of designing and creating excellence.
Four things that would make us LOVE you
- You have built an app specifically for the touch web before.
- You understand how to use HTML5 capabilities such as offline caching and geo location.
- You know how to make webkit transforms blow a user away.
- You know how to make Javascript work smoothly in conjunction with beautiful design. ie- effects that aren’t just thrown in.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HTML5-based layouts
- Create touch interactions with the content
- Have free reign with the blank canvas of the tablet browser
- Work with our team, which includes our lead experience fellow, who has a Master’s in multitouch interfaces. (you can get those?)
Requirements
- Extensive knowledge of HTML, especially HTML5.
- Extensive knowledge of CSS, especially CSS3.
- Extensive knowledge of Javascript.
- Touch experience with Javascript a must.
